Biography
Pearl is the heroine of our story and the sole heir to the Wallace Empire. A strong young woman with an adventurous demeanor and open spirit, she is able to tackle all that life throws at her. Her plane, the Pride of Bakersfield, is her most prized possession.
Pearl’s journey starts when her father, Samuel, mysteriously dies. Although their relationship had been fraught, Pearl flies back to Artemis Island, property of the family, to get to the bottom of the mystery.
